Shakespeare in Performance


Join Artistic Director John-Robert Partridge for a friendly and fun workshop exploring the art of Shakespeare in performance. This is a great workshop for beginners who are exploring Shakespeare for the first time or old pro's who are looking for a refresher course. These classes can be booked for one on one tuition or in large groups of up to 30 people

Audition Coaching


Tread the Boards Theatre Company's Artistic Director is a freelance acting coach who works closely with Stratford-upon-Avon College, Birmingham School of Acting and Birmingham University coaching prospective students for their auditions. These private sessions can be booked on a one on one basis or in groups of four. If you are looking to prepare for drama school and  would like some coaching this is the perfect course for you.

Spotlight

Before each of our productions you can book a spotlight session with a member of the creative team of Tread the Boards - the director, producer, set designer, lighting designer or performers. Find out a little bit about the behind the scenes of a Tread the Boards production. These sessions last 1 hour approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes before the performance begins. Early booking is advised. These sessions cost £5.00 per person

After Dark

Following a performance on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays is an After Dark session. This is a Question and Answer session with the cast and creatives of the production. This is the audience chance to ask questions and chat about the inner workings of the production or any other questions. These sessions are perfect for school groups and last approx 1 hour. these sessions cost £1.00 per person.
