'A rose by any other name would smell as sweet...'

Romeo & Juliet follows the story of two young people born to waring families who fall in love, their families feud finally proving their doom.

Tread the Board's annual Shakespeare offering brings this star-crossed story to the stage in traditional Shakespearian costume. Directed by John-Robert Partridge this is entertaining, accessible and beautiful Shakespeare with raw, unadulterated performances.

Twelfth Night has such a fantastical story of hope and tom-foolery in a place that is new and different so setting it in my families home of Ireland seemed to fit with the fun, the music and the ship-wrecked newcomer experiencing new wonders on a far-off island.
