Tread the Boards Theatre Company

Tread the Boards is the award winning resident theatre company of The Attic Theatre. Founded by Catherine Prout and John-Robert Partridge in 2009, we pride ourselves on producing a unique theatre experience in Stratford-upon-Avon.

As well as working with established professional actors, John and Catherine work with local upcoming talent to develop their skills, give them experience of working in a professional theatre environment and start them on the journey of a successful acting career.

We continue to score five star reviews on Trip Advisor and are rated as '#1 of things to do in Stratford-upon-Avon' aquiring a 'Traveller's Choice' status for 2022. We have won several awards including 'Best Children's Show' and runners up in the 'Primary Times Childrens Choice Award' for our production of Peter Pan at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015, and 'Arts Organisation of the Year' and 'Team of the Year' at the Pride of Stratford Awards 2016.
